The FREEducation Teaching Portal is now open. Today the site was officially launched and wow, it has created a much bigger stir than I expected.

The site has maths, english, science and history resources, interactive lessons to download, thousands of links for schools, home schools, children struggling with homework or just for additional information.

I want teachers to feel this is a place where they can chat to each oher, share ideas and discuss what works and what does not. Teachers should not need to reinvent the wheel each time they teach a class.

I will keep adding addional functions and articles to the site on a daily basis. So spread the word about the site - the more who use it, the more great teaching ideas there are to share!
