Lomakatsi Restoration Project

Description: Nonprofit organization dedicated to the regeneration and rehibilation of watersheds within the greater Klamath/Siskiyou bio-region of Southwestern Oregon, primarily in the Rogue River basin and its surrounding watersheds. Lomakatsi provides environmental educational and outreach, eco-forestry workforce training programs, community supported watershed restoration projects, and a wide variety of volunteer opportunities. Since 1995 Lomakatsi has been organizing restoration projects to aid in the healing of eco-systems impacted by unwise use and damaging resource extraction practices.
