Description: Cultural and educational content from Encuentro channel, programs, videos, information and resources for teachers. Encuentro was created in may 2005 and recognized by the Nacional Educational Law (N ° 26.206) from Argentina. It means an innovative proposal that includes the creation of an Internet portal, because its target is to link television and Information and Communication Technologies (TIC) to enhance both and generate a common space. Science, historical figures, geography, literature, and movies, health and sports are the screen’s main characters. Argentinean and Latin-American’s present is also an important subject. Encuentro started to transmit with two fundamental objectives: to develop a public, educational and quality television, and use in favour of teaching what media can offer.
