Category talk:Standards
From Wikidweb
How about putting this in "Science and Technology" instead? (For the reason that standards are kind of in the same group and measurements, etc., which I think of as being a branch of science...) --Aerik Sylvan 23:06, 7 Apr 2005 (PDT)
- I don't mind, but I didn't know where to put it, so I checked DMOZ and this is close to where theirs is (theirs in under computer > hardware). I was thinking that sites like W3C would also go under this for computer/internet. Is ISO standards for more than computer stuff? We should research this a bit more. --webseo 05:37, 8 Apr 2005 (PDT)
- Oh yeah, those country codes, for example, are used for international shipping. ISO creates standards for all kinds of stuff. But I understand where you're coming from now, as W3C is computer specific. (I agree W3C should also go under computer/internet.) --Aerik Sylvan 06:55, 8 Apr 2005 (PDT)
- But I think we should change this category name for the same reasons as Governments and city/states...now that I finally understand the category system. This is off-topic here, but yes, I'm pretty proficient with CSS (I'll email you).--webseo 19:13, 8 Apr 2005 (PDT)
