Category talk:Hunting and Fishing
From Wikidweb
I originally made "Hunting and Fishing" and then linked it up to both "Shopping" and "Recreation". That was fine for the first site listed since they sold things. The next listing for flafishing is a guide service and belongs under the "Recreation" half of the sub-category. Thoughts?

Yeah, kinda like we emailed about...
I think we've got to watch out for multicategorizing categories when it could mean two different things - an example where I think we're very safe multicategorizing a cateogry is locations: "Category:San Jose CA" would belong quite logically to "Category:California USA" and "Category:Large Cities". I think as I belive you alluded to, for these we should have separate categories: "Hunting and Fishing" under recreation, then something else under shoppping.
Yeah - let's take "Shopping" off "Hunting and Fishing" then add "Shopping/Sporting Goods" to the individual sites, okay?--Aerik Sylvan 19:16, 5 Apr 2005 (PDT)
